Luke accepts briefs in criminal and quasi criminal matters in metropolitan and regional courts, as well as intervention orders, compensation orders, common law, litigation, family law and victims of crime assistance tribunal applications.
Luke has appeared as sole counsel and junior counsel in jury trials in the County Court.
Prior to coming to the bar, Luke worked as a solicitor advocate at two law firms, appearing regularly in metropolitan and regional courts and tribunals, and working in the civil litigation team.
Luke has a passion for advocacy and guiding clients through complex areas of law at difficult times. Luke encourages early briefing and communication with solicitors, and accepts direct briefs from clients in appropriate circumstances.
